WEEK 1 - 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS 2023

ree

I usually do a One Sheet Wonder (OSW) project because it's a great way to get off to a good start when you know you're going to need a few Christmas cards ready to pop in the mail - especially if you're sending them overseas.

This year, I have fallen in love with the Winter Meadow Suite on page 36 Sep-Dec 2023 Mini catalogue. It's stunning, and the biggest surprise (for me) is the non-traditional colours, as I am usually red and green all the way!

For my project, I've also used the Deckled Circles Dies #162286

Begin with a piece of A4 cardstock - mine is Basic White

You can really stamp in any order, but a couple of tips I use are:

Choose one stamp per ink colour & place the stamp on the ink pad - helps prevent mistakes.

Stamp the largest image first

Don't be overly fussy, just do it!

Once your piece is covered to your liking, cut it into 4 measuring 138mm x 95mm. This gives a 5mm border around the outside when layered onto your card base.

You can assemble them all differently, but if you want to make a bunch quickly, keeping the design the same for all 4 cards is easier to speed up the process.

Use Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment and the stamped layer - it has a bigger impact.

Are you an early bird, or a last minute loris when it comes to Christmas preparation?

I hope you've enjoyed week 1. Let me know what you're making!
