SUOC 295 - HEAT EMBOSSING

I made this card for this week's SUO Challenges. The brief was to make a card using heat embossing. I love this technique.

I've used the Very Versailles stamp set that featured in my Gilded Leafing classes last week. It's so pretty and paired with the Linen Specialty Paper has a gorgeous vintage feel.

You can really see the texture of the embossing and the Linen paper in this picture. I love that detailed filigree stamp and how gorgeous is it embossed in copper?!

The embossed copper strip across the linen front was made using Tear & Tape. Stick it to your cardstock, peel off the paper and sprinkle it with embossing powder. Then heat until it melts. I really like the random spatters of powder that stuck to the linen paper too!

I love the look of this Karen definitely has a vintage look about it and how clever to use tear n tape to heat emboss on top gives such a great look. Thanks for joining in the SUOchallenge hope to see you next time x Natalie Arnold
